Established in accordance with The State Enterprise Relations Act B.E. 2000, the Committee has, according to Article 23 of the Act, the following duties :
1. To provide opinions on improving the effectiveness of the state enterprise operations, promote and develop labour relations.
2. To find ways to compromise and end conflicts within the state enterprise.
3. To consider amending work regulations for the benefits of the state enterprise employers and employees.
4. To provide counselling to solve problems as complained by employees or the labour union as well as to look into complaints related to disciplinary punishment.
5. To provide consultations to improve the employment situation.
