    Increasing Service Efficiency Plan

         Responding to the Government's policy on improving State Enterprises performance to world class standards, MWA has continuously developed the existing plan for the year 2004-2007 by focusing on generating more incomes and strengthening financial status, improving service quality to increase customers satisfaction. The plan covered 4 significant issues as following :-

        1.   Operation Efficiency Improvement by means of

              1.1   Increasing revenue through expanding services area in Minburi , Bangbuathong , Ladkrabang and Bangpli.
              1.2   Expenditure Minimization through reducing loan interest , controlling personnel expenditure and improve staff productivity thus, in 2007 the service ratio of staff per customers will be at 1:400. Besides, the power consumption and chemical procurment will be strictly controled and monitored.
              1.3   Water Loss Reduction control through leakage survey and network maintenance. The Unaccounted for water will be kept down to 30% within the year 2006.

        2.    Services Quality Improvement:

              2.1   Water quality will be strictly complied with WHO standards from raw water sources until customers' tap water
              2.2   Average water pressure in waterpipe network will be aimed at meter by the year 2006
              2.3   Improving the services of Branch Offices such as one stop services by focusing on customers' satisfaction

        3.    Management Development : The following issues are taking into account in obtaining higher efficient management

               3.1   Applying Performance Based Management (PBM) in human resources management
               3.2   Profit / Cost Center will be adapted at every Branch Office
               3.3   Business Process Development equiped with Informartion Technology will be exploited all over MWA
               3.4   Improving Procurement and Inventory Management system to shorten aging of storage materials to 37 days by the year 2007
               3.5   Decentralize  Anthority to operating level and become more businesslike by organization restructuring.
               3.6   Provide staff training and capacity build up with multi skilled operators 5% aunually.
               3.7   Apply Good Corporate Governance.

        4.    Risk Management
      
               Risk Management will be incorporated in organization day to day operation as MWA's work culture. The sustainable development is essantial in creating value added to MWA and make the organization's objectives achievable.
