1. To formulate MWA management strategies.
2. To consider all aspects of business operations, from the procurement of raw materials, to water production, to distribution and provision of services.
3. To develop various work systems using information technology as a tool ; review the action plan in line with changing technology ; improve the management and manpower structures ; establish appropriate human resource management guidelines ; monitor the performance results of human resource management and information technology management operations and report to the MWA board of directors quarterly.
4. To establish procedures and benchmarks for continual monitoring and assessing the MWA performance in order to achieve the objectives and targets of the organization.
5. To consider the MWA master financial plan and financial risk management plan and approve financial and operation analysis reports prior to submission to the MWA board of directors.
6. To approve all matters involving financial management that need immediate attention and report to the MWA board of directors.
7. To scrutinize and amend regulations , agreements and contracts in line with MWA operations.
8. To consider the amendments to regulations and laws within the management sector for greater flexibility in practice.
9. To undertake other tasks as assigned by the MWA board of directors.
